Review

We start to see political changes in the wizarding world affecting the boldness of peers and prejudices in this part of the series. The darker elements are still apparent and the inevitable conflicts to come later in the series start to be more seriously alluded to. Harry is dealing with more metaphysical warfare than before, and finds that the safty of the school he once called home, is now deteriorating even further into a place where he encounters abuses. He starts losing his faith in himself and he starts to deal with more complex feelings about his siutation and the actions he must take to protect himself and his friends. Much of this stems from being brought into the world of adulthood more quickly than his peers and the challenges that causes for himself and his friendships.
