Review

The first in the Harry Potter series, it's a great introduction to the harships of Harry as he not only discovers his wizarding past and more about his deceased family, but also the enemy he survived and the rumor of the Dark Lord returning. The wizarding world introduces you to common mythical creatures with new and original characteristics, and the well known classic good versus evil where good triumphs trope. The rlationships between protagonists are heartfelt, innnocent, and healthy friendships showing excellent judgement of character, intuition, and respect for one another. The world building is phenominal. Extremely well written. Fanstatic introduction to fantasy for young readers, and a wonderful family-friendly read.
