Review

This is the first time we see other schools in the Wizarding World and the social dynamic of other young wizards as they interact from diffrent educational backgrounds. We also see a lot of competition socially as well as literally in sport. Romantic relationships start to devleop by this point in the book as the characters are now teens going through puberty . This is a pivotal point in the series that speak not only to how humans grow, but also introduces how hormones can affect once healthy friendships/relationships in more complex ways. Though the loyalty and friendship remains despite the complexities of changing people and social dynamics. The action is really great in this book as well, because of all the sporting events and challenges the competitors must face and of course we get introduced to some fantasticly described mythical creatures. However, we deal more with death and its affects on young people in this book than previously in the series, which suggests a turning point to darker and more ugly things to come.
