Review

An unusual choice for the fourth book of this series. It is pleasant to read and has some good moments, but it’s just more of the same as the other book, but without the battles and magic. It is a book about personal relationships. I find this both good and bad. Good in continuing to develop characters and bringing readers back to their favorite characters in the series. Bad in that it is more like a bunch of high school kids and their fights with boyfriends/girlfriends. The whole series is feeling torn between being about a bunch of friends in today’s world and epic fantasy. Recommended, but the series seems a bit tired and retread.
