Review

I am admittedly biased with this book. This was the book that got me into reading. Before that I rarely read and even more rarely finished books. This book opened my mind to a whole universe of ideas and a whole large genre of fiction. On rereading this as an adult I found even more layers to love. This book isn’t really about time travel. The time machine is just a plot device to get the traveller into the far future to see how we have evolved from who we are now. But this only lets Wells shed light on the class disparity that existed in the industrialized world. Best Book Ever. Recommended.
