Synopsis
An Interplanetary Police Force, or I.P.F., is on a voyage out to Eros in the ship Medusa. They encounter a buccaneer ship.

Review
A nice short story, with pretty good characters for the time and a well-crafted little story. With a few changes, this story could have been the basis for a novel, and you are kind of left wanting more, wishing for expanded information about the society of the time and about the pirates, plus wanting more adventures. The story only gives you one battle between the IPF and a pirate ship. Still, it was an enjoyable story.
