1941 RetroHugo winner for best short story.

Review

This is an unusually touching, sentimental story, especially since there had only been two robot stories before this that showed robots not as monsters. It is pretty well written, though simple. Perfect for an introduction to SF for kids. A must read for fans of Asimov.
