Review

This one reminds me a lot of “A Martian Odyssey” and other stories of the solar system by Stanley G. Weinbaum, but written three years earlier than any of Weinbaum’s stories. An influence maybe? Starzl does a fair job of building the world and all of its flora and fauna. There’s no Tweel which makes the Weinbaum story stronger. Otherwise this does a fair job of taking a walking tour through the wonders and dangers of an alien planet. Very imaginative. One of Starzl’s best and most readable today.
