Review

“The world was full of monsters, and they were all allowed to bite the innocent and the unwary.” That quote very much fits this story. It is a story about how the tragedies of the world make our problems small and petty. The fights between couples, adultery, everything else that we fight each other over or let hurt us are nothing compared to the dangers that are all around us. In this case a rabid dog. Things with the power to destroy everything we have or even kill us. I always say that the horror of a Lovecraft story doesn’t scare me. The real horror is the terrible things that can happen in the real world. Recommended.
