Review

This was a requested sequel due to the popularity of Half-Breed. I think it suffers from that—not being an intended extension to the first story. Asimov attempts a romance between two of the Tweenies, but fails to make it anything but awkward and dumb. The drama of the story is that earthmen show up. That is handled poorly, with the obvious best solution being avoided. The best part of the story is the amphibious Venusians. They were an interesting creation, but they could have been developed deeper. So this story pretty much fails on all counts.
