Synopsis

A new propulsion system is invented, but the inventor dies. People apply his invention to the Underground train in London and the first run of it is filled with important people. But nobody knows how to stop this train.

A very short story, qualifying as flash fiction. It is well done, with kind of a satirical tone. Was the absence of brakes an oversight or on purpose?
