On all that bleak plain, there was only a broken old tower—that howled!

History

First publication: Unknown, June 1941

Review

The third in the series does start to seem kind of familiar, similar to the first two, but with different magic and different monsters. But this one goes on to a story of the the dedication of Grey Mouser to his friend, willing to risk everything to save him. Excellent story.
