Review

This is King imitating Lovecraft and it works beautifully. I could almost believe that this was a rediscovered Lovecraft original. It is definitely part of the Cthulhu Mythos. The story has all of the elements of Lovecraft, an old house, a weird book, inbred people devoted to a twisted religion and a terrifying family legacy. For lovers of Lovecraft this story is a must read.
