Review
Lost Worlds is an odd “novel” in that it is the novel for 2001: a space odyssey, but it is all or at least most of the early versions of the chapters in the final novel. It is fascinating to see the evolution of the concept and story through these draft versions. These alternates enhance the experience that is 2001. So it doesn’t really make a real novel, nor is it a sequel or side stories in the 2001 universe, but still an excellent book.
Recommended to all fans of 2001: a space odyssey.
