Review
This is one of those far future stories that I am a sucker for. It isn't perfect, but mostly is well written. The far future of man and the world is weel realized. I also like that this immortal man is shown as a twentieth century man being outstripped by the rest of mankind continuing to evolve. Too often you get the Buck Rogers-type stories where they are twentieth century men in the future still being able to outsmart everyone. The weakness, and really the weakness of most of this type of story, is that it doesn't give us enough detail about things. There’s thousands or millions of years of history here being briefly touched on. There are many sub-stories that could be told. But that doesn’t really kill this story for me. I still think it is a great example of this type of science fiction.
