Review

I relaize this story was expanded into a novel and may have been just a chapter pulled out of the book-in-progress, but I don’t think it should have been published that way. There is too much that we are not told about the situation. Why is the sub concerned with the whale herd? Why are the two dolphins working with the guy in the sub? What happened in the world to make this situation necessary? I hope the novel will answer those questions. It just seems like a fragment and not a story. So I can’t say this short version of The Deep Range is worth reading.
