First publication: Science Fantasy, July 1954
Review
This is a really cool story, packed full of ideas: the future, genetic engineering to suit alien environments, space travel, aliens, time travel, videodiscs, time paradoxes and time police. You might expect such an array in a novel but not in a short story! Quite impressive for such an early story, yet it is a bit too much and is confusing, so I don’t feel I can call this a great story. Still I would recommend giving it a read.
