Review

Top Tale. A lot of PKD’s themes appear here. The theme of robots tasked with fighting wars and coming after humans is one that was done three times previously to this and here it is again. But each time he found a new way to look at the same basic situation. This story adds to the mix his interest in questioning reality and perception. The themes and obsessions of PKD come together here to make one of his very best stories.
