Review

This is a very short story with a twist ending that I will not spoil. Written by Robert Bloch, who had been publishing through the decade, mostly in Weird Tales, and is best known as the author of Psycho. I did not love the story. It is very dated, but even overlooking that and remembering that it was published in 1939, the story just doesn’t convince me. The basic premise is silly and was better done in a Twilight Zone episode. Not recommended
