Synopsis

The leader of the Fatherland needs an operation, but the only doctor capable of performing the operation is in a concentration camp. The doctor agrees to do it if he and his family are granted freedom.

Review

An extremely short story published in a fanzine. Published in early 1940 it is obviously a reaction to the outbreak of WWII. The ending is ironic and I won’t spoil it. Not a major Heinlein work but worth reading.
