Synopsis
A godlike being is fleeing from the Usurpers who held him captive. He takes refuge on a planet that he realizes is the Usurper’s home planet long ago.

Review
This story is in Dangerous Visions because it deals with a subject that was taboo back then—alternative theories about the Bible. The subject likely would have been offensive to many Christians in the 60s. Breaking taboos and upsetting the apple cart are what Dangerous Visions was all about. This would be close to the last story Del Rey published. It is recommended.
