A fascinating story. It is in five parts, each realting a different story in this world, but they all come together to give a picture of this world where artificial beings are trying to keep things going. They start to fail at creating new children and their own parts are breaking down. Very short but remarkable. I love the feel that Evenson brings to these far future stories like this one. Recommended.
