Synopsis
A dog is the only one that notices the Roog coming into the yard.
History
First publication: F&SF, February 1952
Review
Supposedly the first story written and sold by PKD, but didn’t see publication until a year later. Roog is a very short story of the F&SF style. The twist is ironic and the dog is really the main character with more personality than any of the other characters in the book.
