Poetry is something many people hate but many others love. Most poetry does not fall under any genre titles. But the Weird Tales authors wrote a lot of poetry, especially Lovecraft. Frank Belknap Long was one of those authors. This book collects a large number of poems, many with a weird or horror subject and many that just look to past times and other ancient places. They vary in impact, but all are pretty good. I wouldn’t call any of them great, but this is a very enjoyable book.
