Review

Sort of a statement about our mechanized society, that the machines are becoming more and more important and we become more dependent on them, while we and the machines destroy nature. With the rise of AI this story becomes even more alarming. Our vehicles are synced with our computers and our satellites. Machines are designed to be able to do almost any task, unlike the trucks that depend on us. There were a number of stories and movies on this theme in the 70s and King would revisit this sort of thing in Christine. This story is still excellent.
