Synopsis
A starship in hyperspace is hit by a meteorite. It destroys their navigation and blinds an officer. They have no way to find their path back to earth. They are on a mapmaking mission to chart the stars.

Review
This is an example of a strong idea story that still does a pretty good job of building the characters and their world. The situation is described excellently with a great deal of imagination. I love the descriptions of hyperspace here. This is a fun and intelligent science fiction short.
