Synopsis

A group of kids want to go trick or treating for Halloween, but their friend is ill. They go ahead and come to a strange house with a tree full of Jack-O-Lanterns in the yard.

Review

This is aimed at kids and teaches about illness, death and friendship through a history of Halloween. Bradbury’s writing is at top form here and sounds great read aloud. The story is filled with deep imagination. The story is a unique vision and a pleasure to read. Definitely recommended!
