Review

Ballard always said that the only science fiction he was interested in was of our own place and time, but this story goes against that. Taking place in 2217 on a distant world. It becomes the stage for a cosmic revelation, not unlike something Arthur C. Clarke had written. Excellent story and one of Ballard’s finest in my opinion. Recommended.
