Review

This is definitely one of the works that earned Lovecraft his reputation for racism. He felt that only those descended from English ancestors were trustworthy and everyone else was evil. The story sounds much like the cries of the maga groups against everything that is different today, spreading a hatred and a suspicion of vile conspiracies against everyone who is not them. Read at your own risk.
