Synopsis

A woman goes up a clock tower in order to get a better view of Edinburgh. She climbs into the clock mechanisms and pokes her head through a service portal in the clock face. This proves to be a really bad mistake.

Review

This is a satire, following from the satirical description of what it takes to write a gothic story. Poe goes to an extreme and succeeds at creating a story worthy of Monty Python. Recommended.
