Review
A Gothic story in the tradition of all the greatest gothic works and clearly inspired by all of them, from Ann Radcliffe to Poe to Shelley and the Brontes to Stoker and probably some DuMaurier as well. The writing is not perfect and there were times I winced and other times I thought certain things were too simple, but the story was a lot of fun. I enjoyed it from start to finish. Recommended.
