Synopsis
As one scientist develops the “Vernon Ray,” a second scientist discovers creatures that live in the earth’s atmosphere and steals the Vernon Ray projector plans, in order to conquer the world.

Review
This is a somewhat disappointing story, given Williamson’s previous stories. It is a standard, madman wants to take over the world using super-science story, along with an old funny professor, his beautiful daughter, and the hero who wants to marry her. Pretty standard, but these are still fun, especially with the variety of imagination Williamson piles into this. All of it scientifically nonsense, but still weird, wild and fun!
