Synopsis
A purple gas spreads over all of the earth except the North Pole. A man who had been stranded at the North Pole comes back to find everyone gone.

Review
A last-man-on-earth tale, this book shows the meaning of man alone, the effects it has on his mental state, effects he has on his surroundings, and what one does to find meaning outside of others, including loved ones and religion. The post-apocalyptic world building is both beautiful in it’s natural state as well as tragic is it’s decay and reflects the mind of the human left to witness it.
