Review

A very interesting fantasy by Verne. He is noted as a science fiction author, yet this story has a strong anti-science theme. I don’t agree with that, but have to admit the story is compelling. The time-man is a wild and disturbing image as is the pursuit of Zacharius to have control of his one reamaining working clock. I hesitate to say more for fear of spoiling it. There is a lot more that could be discussed.
