A teenager runs into a gnome in the woods and demands a wish be granted to make him run faster than anyone.

Review
Fairly well-written and not one of Ellison’s uncollected early works, so he didn’t disown it. A humorous fantasy with an ironic ending. The humor is not the greatest but it has some chuckles.
